Once the cattle are harvested they will be weighed by Matt’s Custom meats. I will then provide you with the weight of your selected portion (Quarter, Half or Whole). I will then bill for the harvesting fee and remainder owed. Matt’s Custom Meats will contact you to determine the cuts you prefer. When the meat is ready you will be contacted by Matt’s Custom Meats for pick up and payment of the cut and wrap or processing fee.

How much Meat will my Freezer Hold?
A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for
each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. Allow slightly more space when the meat is packaged in odd shapes. So, a quarter would take up 4-5 cubic feet. An average refrigerator has about a 5 cubic foot freezer. So a quarter beef should fit in an average refrigerator freezer.
